The season begins with all levels practicing on Wednesday Aug. 8th from 9:00-11:00 am. The divers will have their first practice on Monday, August 13th 9:00-11:30. Two important items: 1) ORDER TEAM SUIT ASAP by clicking here- TEAM SUIT 2) Every swimmer/diver must have their physical turned in to the Athletic Department by the first day of practice. If athletic department is closed you can drop it off at receptionist desk at the front of GBS by the principals office. The coaches no longer need to get permits from athletes…it is all done electronically. If you have any questions please email one of the coaches.

It is with great sadness that we pass along the news that Rick Peterson passed away on Friday,July 13th. The public visitation is Saturday,July 28 9:00-12 at Scott funeral home 1100 Greenleaf avenue Wilmette. My personal connection with Rick spans 40 years. He was one of my first swim coaches, continued as a mentor, colleague and friend. He made connections with so many swimmers throughout the years.
