The biggest senior class ever of GBS Swimming and Diving celebrated tonight vs. Maine South. This was our first and “ONLY” in person meet at GBS this season. The boys embraced it and we were happy to allow the parents on deck after the meet to take family pictures and celebrate success. Max Iida went off..breaking two varsity records. The 100 fly record was our oldest record (Andrew Schmitt 2007) and the 100 back record was his brother’s Sam’s record.
With the win against Maine South tonight the Varsity completed an undefeated dual meet season for the second year in a row. The JV also had big swims as they beat Maine South as well. Next week will be the culmination of the season with the CSL Championship Meet
Full results will be posted after New Trier JV 2 swims tomorrow. Here are the JV/Varsity Results
